The Impact of giving

Giving to charitable organizations today can leave many people feeling overwhelmed. There is an excess of causes vying for a chance to put your gifts to good use. However, it is important to research a charitable organization and make sure your funds are being used for what they are promoting. Many non-profits use their gifts largely to cover overhead expenses limiting the impact of your gift on the cause you choose to support.
At St. Barnabas, we understand that you are giving to something you are passionate about and we want your gift to have a direct impact on our students. Take a look below at the many areas of the school that were positively impacted by the generous gifts we received in the 2016-17 school year.
This year, all funds we raise will be used for three specific needs that support student learning and teacher training. These areas include Technology, Professional Development, and Scholarships. Ensuring our teachers receive professional development will equip them to stay affront of best practices such as project-based learning (PBL). Providing scholarships helps us attract new students and retain existing students who demonstrate financial need, as well as, aid students whose parents fall on unexpected hard times. Technology seems to be advancing every day, and we must continue to provide the latest and greatest tools for our teachers and students to excel in the classroom.

We want all our donors to know that every dollar of their gift is making a direct impact on the students at our school and not going to any other area not promoted in our giving campaigns. If you have any further questions about giving or how you can make an impact on other areas you are passionate about, please contact Kyle Hays (khays@sbesyes.org).

Thank you for prayerfully considering a gift to our annual fund and providing every student at St. Barnabas with the opportunity to reach their full potential!
