Pre-K3: Mrs. Stewart’s Weekly Newsletter

Week of May 21, 2012

Theme: “Putting It Together”

Happy last week of school Super-tots! This week we will be focusing on drama activities. We will be finishing up any unfinished projects and will be reviewing the alphabet. The books we will be acting out this week will be: The Three Billy Goats Gruff, Pretend You’re a Cat, Would They Love a Lion, Anansi and the Moss Covered Rock and Squeak-a-lot.

On Tuesday, May 23 we will have our end of the year class party. I’m sure you all received the email from our wonderful class parent, but if you have any additional questions feel free to email me and I will address them. We are going to have some water games and activities so send your student prepared with a bathing suit under their clothes and a change of clothes. We will also be having a special snack. Parents are all welcome to attend and if you wish, may take your student at the end of our celebration activities. After the class party we will be having playground time, lunch and rest, so students that leave early won’t miss any lessons. Hope to see you there!

Show and Share has changed to the themed lesson! So students may bring in some item to show and share that fits the theme of the week. (This week-Putting It Together–Plays/Theatre)
