St. Barnabas Episcopal School received the National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence designation because national standardized test scores were in the top 10% of the nation in 2003. Since then, our students standardized scores have soared to be in the top 4% of the nation.
At St. Barnabas, the mastery of all skills is expected, but that is a means to the end, not the goal. The goal of education at St. Barnabas encompasses the very reasons it was designated as a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence – it is the intentional formation of the whole person: moral, spiritual, cultural, aesthetic, academic, and physical.
