The Sportsman’s Creed

“Victory Comes From Doing Your Best”

 The Player….

lives clean and plays hard;

plays for the love of the game;

wins without boasting, loses without excuses, and never quits;

respects officials and accepts their decisions without arguments;

never forgets that he/she represents his/her school.

The Coach….

inspires in athletes a love for the game and a desire to win;

teaches that it is better to lose fairly than to win unfairly;

leads players and spectators to respect officials by setting a good example;

is the type of person athletes want to be.

The official….

knows the rules;

is fair and firm in all decisions and calls them as he sees them;

is courteous to coaches and players and earns the same for himself;

knows the game is for the athletes and gives them the spotlight.

The Spectator….

never “boo’s” a player, coach, or official;

appreciates a good play by either team;

knows the school receives the blame or praise for their conduct.
