IT’S ALL ABOUT THE KIDS… 

As dedicated parents of St. Barnabas Episcopal School, join us in supporting the 2009-2010 Annual Fund by generously giving this year to reach our goal of $70,000.  

Your gift will help us accomplish the continuation of educational excellence we have come to cherish at St. Barnabas, as it directly touches the lives of our children. Education is the road to a bright future and giving our children the tools to excel academically, physically, emotionally, and spiritually are what we are striving to sustain.  IT’S ALL ABOUT THE KIDS! 

Striving and achieving outstanding academics attracted my family to St. Barnabas and probably your family as well. Graduating students from our school on average are 5 years ahead of their peers academically, according to the scores performed on the standardized ITBS tests given yearly. We also know and are comforted that our children are well-grounded in their spiritual knowledge and personal development to become outstanding future college graduates and productive citizens. 

In addition, over the last two years 33% of our 8^th grade graduates have gone into the International Baccalaureate Program at DeLand High School and another 31% placed into the Honors Programs at various area high schools. Our middle school students also have the opportunity to earn multiple high school credits in Algebra I & II, Spanish I, and Biology while they attend St. Barnabas Episcopal School.  

All of this is possible because we have the financial investment of our parents, families, and friends that strive along with us and give to support making St. Barnabas a School of Excellence! 

While we are currently faced with an economy that is yielding very few “sure things” to invest in and receive a high rate of return, a St. Barnabas education is a sure thing!  The St. Barnabas Episcopal School Annual Fund will benefit every student through enhanced academic programs; varied extracurricular activities; increased faculty benefits, compensation, and professional development; information technology access; a strong scholarship program; improved and expanded educational resources and equipment. This is the foundation of our children’s future! IT’S ALL ABOUT THE KIDS! 

We are happy to personally support the 2009-2010 Annual Fund as we believe we invest in our children’s future when we invest in St. Barnabas Episcopal School. This year our son will be graduating after spending 10 years “laying the foundation” for his future. Our daughter is not far behind graduating with the class of 2011. The growth they have made academically, physically, emotionally, and spiritually is worth the investment!
